Hi. My name is Emma. I'm 25 years old and have 8 years experience working in childcare. Mostly as a nanny, but the qualification I have was gained through working as an apprentice in a Montessori nursery school. Since then I have worked for numerous families, both in the U.K. and in Australia. Most of the children I have looked after have been under 5. However, for the last 15 months I have been working for a family in the U.K. with a 10 year old girl who has down syndrome. I have a recent First Aid qualification, clean drivers licence, am a non smoker, have an Australian Working With Children's Check and a recent U.K. Police Check. I am able to provide a full CV and references. I'm confident, outgoing, active, love health and fitness, enjoy being outdoors, a keen snowboarder, love animals (especially dogs!) and LOVE travelling! I am living in Mount Maunganui and now have my own car.
My name is Ghizlane (pronounced Reezlin), I am from Austin, Texas, but born in Algeria and lived in France until I was 6 years old (so I do understand French well, and can still speak at an intermediate level). I am in New Zealand on a working holiday visa, I am currently volunteering at a five star wellness retreat by the name of Aro Ha, located near Queenstown. My volunteer program is up beginning of March 2019 and I plan on moving away from the Queenstown area and possibly to the north island, dependent on work. I'm responsible, honest, cheerful, active, social, kind, patient, respectful and organized. I've done different volunteer activities in Mexico that have given me experience: one year as a tutor for 7/8 year olds that had learning difficulties in a public school, another year I worked on an all girls orphanage taking care of them, helping with their homeworks and any other learning activity and organizing games and events held there. One more year I volunteered in a house of disabled people, this time I worked with people from around 12 to 40 years old. I constantly babysit children in Mexico. I really enjoy to do so and have a nice bonding with them and their families. I love animals, children, nature, meeting new people, running, traveling, helping others, swimming, riding a bicycle, reading, to spend time with my friends and family and any outdoor activity. I'm constantly challenging myself and work on my self improvement.
